What home nursing can involve

The areas a registered nurse may work across at home. What happens on your visit is decided by your doctor’s advice, the nurse’s own competency and what you agree with the provider before booking.

  • Patient Monitoring

    BP, pulse, temperature, SpO₂, respiratory rate, blood sugar, consciousness, pain and overall condition; prompt reporting of deterioration.

  • Medication & Treatment

    Prescribed medicines, injections, IV fluids, insulin and nebulization; medication scheduling and monitoring.

  • Basic Nursing Care

    Personal hygiene, oral care, feeding, changing clothes/linen, positioning, pressure-sore prevention and mobility assistance.

  • Catheter/Tube Care

    Foley catheter, NG/feeding tube, drains, tracheostomy and ostomy care, including urine-output monitoring.

  • Wound Care

    Dressing, postoperative and pressure-ulcer care, infection monitoring and aseptic technique.

  • Respiratory Care

    Oxygen therapy, nebulization, suctioning and tracheostomy care as per patient requirements and nurse competency.

  • Nutrition & Elimination

    Feeding, tube feeding, intake/output monitoring, diaper changes and bowel/bladder care.

  • Documentation

    Nursing notes, vital/medication/intake-output records and communication of significant changes in the patient’s condition.
